The eagerly awaited release of the new version of the Nintendo DS family is released on March 5th 2010 in the form of the Nintendo DSI XL. Bucking the usual trend of console releases, whereby the usual feature is to make the hardware more compact, the main feature of the DSi XL is the increase in size of the screens, coming in at 93% larger than the original Nintendo DS.
